The post graduate department of Business Management was formed in 1985 with a view to fostering value based management education and research in order to cater to the country's growing need for qualified and efficient managers and management academics.


Department of Business Management, Calcutta University is ranked 32 as per survey of Business School all over India made by 'Business World' [24th December, 2007]
